Black River, a DBA of Newbridge Securities Corporation, announced that Cue Biopharma, Inc. (Nasdaq: CUE) completed an approximately $30 million private placement. Newbridge Securities Corporation acted as placement agent for the transaction.
The private placement consisted of pre-funded warrants to purchase up to 2,727,272 shares of common stock and accompanying common stock purchase warrants to purchase up to 1,363,636 shares of common stock, at an effective purchase price of $11.00 per pre-funded warrant and accompanying warrant. The exercise of the securities is subject to the terms described in Cue Biopharma’s public filings.
Cue Biopharma stated that the gross proceeds were approximately $30 million, before placement agent fees and offering expenses, and that the proceeds are intended to support its clinical pipeline, including the acquisition and development of Ascendant-221, now referred to by the company as CUE-221, as well as working capital and other general corporate purposes.
